Endurance Athlete

What is the OSU Endurance Medicine Program?

We are a group of physicians, sports physical therapists, athletic trainers and board certified specialists who work with athletes who compete in endurance sports. We have specialized training in treating common injuries that affect endurance athletes, preventing injuries, improving performance and getting you back to sport. We understand that you often fear the recommendation to discontinue the sport that you love. When evaluated promptly and appropriate measures are taken, many injuries that affect endurance athletes can be treated early, preventing time away from your sport. We also help with community outreach speaking to and educating area fitness groups and business about common injuries, injury prevention and safe training. We specialize in the treatment of runners, triathletes, swimmers, cyclists and rowers.
