Arthritis in Active People

Arthritis - more specifically osteoarthritis - is the most common musculoskeletal problem seen in general medical practice. Arthritis often places an overwhelming burden on individuals in terms of their ability to remain active. This can affect other aspects of these individuals' health and can lead to a downward spiral that can be difficult to overcome.

Our goal in the Arthritis in Active People Clinic is to help those individuals with arthritis remain active and healthy. We realize that working with patients to help them remain active is a key to treating their arthritis effectively. Whether someone is involved in simple or vigorous exercise, we want to be able to help him or her continue to enjoy his or her activity of choice.

Our approach to the patient is unique. We don’t just focus on daily living but also on one's ability to exercise. Our multidisciplinary approach will help you to not only treat your arthritis but to continue to enjoy favorite activities. Whether walking, running, biking, skiing or playing sports such as tennis and golf, we are dedicated to helping you continue to play hard and stay healthy.
