The OSU Sports Medicine Outreach Program brings sports medicine to the community. Our program works locally in the greater Columbus area, across the state of Ohio, nationally, and internationally. We provide outreach services to Ballet Met through our Performing Arts Medicine Program, the Columbus City Schools, the OSU rugby teams, USA Rugby, Columbus State Community College, other local high schools and sports organizations.
The outreach program is a multidisciplinary program of physicians, athletic trainers, physical therapists, sports psychology, nutrition, sports performance, and other health professionals. Our services include on site care for athletes, sports teams and tournaments. This care includes coverage at events for injury evaluation, injury treatment/management, injury prevention, and sports performance. Additionally, we welcome the opportunity to provide educational programs.
