Announcements > Borchers Wins First Place Honor at AOSSM Meeting
July 2008
James Borchers, MD, assistant clinical professor at OSU's Sports Medicine Center, won first place at the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine's Annual Meeting recently for his poster, "Activity Level and Graft Type as Risk Factors for ACL Failure: A Case Control Study of the MOON Cohort." Borchers was the principal investigator with Angela Pedroza, research associate, and Christopher Kaeding, MD, Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, as co-authors. Winning first place is a significant accomplishment as the poster submission process is highly competitive, with only 10 percent of submissions accepted.
