Sports medicine; knee and shoulder injuries.

Arthroscopy; anterior cruciate ligament tears; meniscal tears.

Notes:

Dr Kaeding has been an orthopedic surgeon at the Sports Medicine Center since it opened in 1991, and is currently Co-Medical Director. He is the Head Team Physician for the OSU Buckeyes’ 36 varsity sports, and a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery in OSU Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.

A graduate of the Northwestern University College of Medicine Dr Kaeding also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Northwestern, followed by a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at The Cleveland Clinic. He was the team physician for the USA basketball at the World University Games in China in 2001 and has worked with winter sport athletes at the US Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid.

Dr Kaeding is a member of The American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, The American College of Sports Medicine and The US Olympic Committee Sports Medicine Society.
